The Best Things To Do In Venice – November 2016

November in Venice is chilly, to be sure, but the city is just as beautiful. Visit churches and museums later in the afternoon (without the crowds) and enjoy the shorter daylight hours wandering the city. Venice is also magical after sundown; bundle up with a cozy winter coat and explore the romantic and mysterious side of the city in winter.

Venice celebrates November with a multitude of fun festivalsFesta di San Martino, a sort of mashup of Halloween & new vintage wine celebration; and Festa della Salute, a religious holiday to thank the Madonna. And with the chilly weather what better time than to book a classical music concert? Hear La Traviata, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, or Violins in Venice at one of the historic and picturesque churches.
