It's no secret — one of the best ways to see London's sights is from the deck of a boat gliding along its famous river! The Thames weaves its way through the city, with history around every bend. Your boat sails past famous London landmarks like Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye.
And some of our favourite Thames River cruises are those that serve up a multi-course lunch or a romantic dinner. Dine as you glide past some of the most recognizable landmarks in the world. We did some digging and found the best dinner and lunch cruises in London. We're glad to share them with you here.
When we're in Paris we love to cruise with the best local riverboat company. It's called Bateaux Parisiens and they have now brought their superior boats (and food!) to London for evening dinner cruises along the Thames.
The friendly, professional service is unsurpassed and the four-course meal is perhaps the best on the river. (Drinks are included.) To top it all off, every evening there is live entertainment! The boat sails nightly.
You also dine in style aboard these luxury Bateaux London boats. Relax to live jazz as your 4-course gourmet dinner is served. Glide past the illuminated city sights — Big Ben, the London Eye, the Tate Modern Museum, Millennium Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe.
When you choose your evening cruise activity you can choose to sail on the Harmony, a Scandinavian sightseeing boat with a spacious open deck, or the Symphony, the largest dinner cruise boat in London. The menu features regional cheeses, Scottish salmon and decadent lemon posset with shortbread for dessert.
We looked forward to this on our visit to London, and were not disappointed. Well looked after by the superb staff, food beautiful, and the band added the extra feel of a superb 3-hour trip. Treat yourself. We will be back. Thank you to everyone involved."

Like the other cruises, you glide past London's most famous landmarks — London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral, and all that. And you enjoy a evening of food, wine and live entertainment on the River Thames.
This Thames River cruise takes place aboard a wide-body boat specially designed as a dining room, with glass windows all around. Plus, there's a large viewing deck on the upper level. The London lights will certainly shine clearly! There's live music and dancing until late. Sunday to Friday.
We booked this cruise for our first night in London. It is a wonderful relaxing way to see the city at night! The staff onboard was amazing. The food was delicious. It was a fancy treat for my family! The views from atop the cruise ship were stunning. Highly highly recommended for a fun romantic night out."

Glide past the best of London — like all the Thames cruises you view the London Eye, Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London, Tower Bridge. But with this activity you also get to choose from the Classic Lunch Cruise or the Elite Lunch Cruise with wine & mineral water included. Departs from Embankment Pier or Waterloo Pier.
